If I ever own a Tundra with 240,000 miles on it, I'll come back to this thread.

That was good DIY stuff though.

At the moment, Tiger Droppings.

I only work from home on Mondays and every other Friday. Hybrid schedule soon to go away in January.

You can’t kill a Tundra

My first Tundra died-ish at 24 years (technically, it didn't die on its own, but I had to put it down)

My second Tundra died after only 8 years - my son ran into an 18-wheeler (thankfully, both my son and the driver of the 18-wheeler were unharmed)

Bought a new Tundra a few months ago, only 15k miles on it so far.

One super annoying thing, the brakes sometimes squeal like crazy. Looking online this is a common problem with newer Tundras, took it back to the dealer and they said they will correct the problem for free, but the wait time to get the parts is over 6 months.

What’s the name of the shop in Tomball? I could use a good honest mechanic to work on my vehicles.

From experience around the city with my Tundra:

Kennedy Auto is a Toyota specialty shop in Tomball, but I've had bad experiences there.

Duggy's Garage is a good Yota speciality shop, but much higher on their labor. Best customer service around.

If you can go a little further North, I like ToyoMasters in Willis. They have made it worth the drive on previous work with a quick turnaround.

I’d never let my clients see me in that old of a vehicle. Thinking about trading my ‘22 in for that reason

Why? You want them to think you are richer than you actually are? Your clients would think that you don’t need their money and go get their “services” somewhere else.

2011 with 186k. Got the last year they had the 5.7L without the FFV.

Just had to replace the starter - other than maintenance, not a single problem.

Yes, and despite the BS plenty of posters took the bait to brag about their high mileage Tundras.

I did just what you did and found my car issue. After an oil change it wouldn't start so they jumped the battery and off to autozone i went. Long story, car wouldn’t drive after new battery. It literally limped along 5 mph. Auto zone no help and it was late Saturday afternoon. I got it home and started googling. By Sunday morning I found what I could be, took a look, and it was a blown fuse and it had thrown my car into safe mode. Something must have happened at the battery swap. Replaced fuse and all good. Now I check fuses first if anything goes wrong.
