Thats not the lowest score ever played in OK I believe it was 2-0 played in Sumner OK back in the late 50's or early 60's. Have relatives that played in that game that told me about it.

Definitely need shot clocks in Oklahoma

Rule changed a few years ago to leave it up to each state association. Some states have a shot clock in HS.

In the states that have no shot clock it's really robbing the young players of actually getting to play the game. And it's robbing the spectators (most schools collect money at the gate to get in) of getting to watch their kids play the game. This teaches nothing to the kids about how to play basketball.

Biggest impediment now is cost,

Meh, I bet Oklahoma uses play clocks during football season. In AL, they certainly do and have to be visible at each end of the stadium. I bet they could make it work for hoops in OK as well.

is ranked 9th in the state so we can only assume they are pretty decent themselves.

They might have a lot of wins, but could be an average team. Ive seen a few teams that were in state championships and I am thinking "there is no way this is the a top 1 or 2 team in this division".

HS basketball talent is found in AAU ball. Have no shot clock in HS basketball really does kill the game.

Currently, Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island, Washington, New York, California, North Dakota and South Dakota utilize the shot clock for either boys or girls or both
