OK to drink tap water in jefferson Parish ?

My wife insists that I don't drink it (I do anyways) and it has a high amount of chemicals.
I think it tastes fine.

its the same water they fill up the water bottles you buy at the store.
when she is out of the house fill up her empty water bottles and put back in the fridge, she will drink it and not notice any difference, in fact she may like it better because it tastes less like plastic
