I’m 58, and I’ve been drinking it for all but about 20 years I’ve lived elsewhere. And I drink a ton of water.

By the time the water gets to JP its been through a lot of kidneys.

Not on a long term basis. Occasionally, probably ok, but I"m not familiar with the groundwater there. I would think all that aquifer is fed from the Miss River....heck no. The Miss River at NOLA is literally the colon of America for pollutant discharge. Sure it's diluted, but I don't think you want to be drinking it on a long term basis. The water company should send you an analysis.

I wonder if at Municipal water conferences they have taste testing contests.

I remember seeing one in Houma when they held a state conference there. They did have things like contests to tap a pipe for new service.

I remember that the workers from the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board were the best at it.
