Good post. One of my best friends and his wife are swingers. We've actually attended clubs with them (we don't swing) and it's a cool environment. We've met a lot of great people. It's amazing to hear their stories, it's a quite a turn on. But my wife and I could never go thru with it.

Call me crazy but I don’t see how it’s so cool? I don’t hate, I don’t really care. But I don’t think there’s a lot of people married for 40, 50+ years that have been in swinging relationships. I get why individuals and some couples like it. But just because someone is odd doesn’t make it cool.
At the end of the day wanting to be with someone else just means you aren’t satisfied with what you have. Instead of working on that together as a couple you give up and seek it elsewhere. Finding satisfaction outside of your relationship almost never leads to long term happiness.

Most swingers don't troll for partners, they're generally in a closed group or three. Most control their circle.

There’s a girl in my neighborhood. Let’s call her Charlotte. Charlotte Johnson. She hot AF. I felt like I had to go see her so I gave her a call. She said yea, come on over. I had NO idea what to expect. So I get there and her brother was on the couch face down in a chocolate pie. Her mom was in the kitchen supposedly “Cutting chicken up to fry”, whatever that means. Her dad was in the backyard with his hose out. So I took Charlotte to the porch and commenced to swinging.
