I've started it a few times, drove about a 1/4, then after that is when I saw him curled up in the frame. I will probably just end up letting him be and hoping he leaves. But I drive my son around every day, and it might sound dumb but I'm worried about him getting into the cab.

well damn, IDK what to tell you. I honestly don't know if there is a way for him to get into the cab. Probably not, but I can't lie I would be scared as shite just at the thought that he might could. Good luck man. the box of mice idea that someone mentioned might not be a terrible one.

maybe try starting the truck, it will rattle(no pun intended) around some and maybe make the snake uncomfortable and he will head out. Just a thought. Worth a shot

Sounds great until you get a snake caught in a fan or pulley. Talk about a mess.

Only think I can think of is find a quarter carwash and a stack of change. Spray until that sucker comes loose.

I would get a pump sprayer filled with something like triacicide and spray it on all the holes of the frame till he comes out. Then wash the shite out of it with a hose. If you are worried about the chemical smell getting inside the truck maybe try something like simple green.

How about this: take it to a Quik Lube... During the oil change, casually ask if they can see a snake and whomp shite out of it.

How many ways are there for him to get into the cab of a GMC Sierra?

Shouldn't be any.

As long as he isn't in the engine compartment there is nop problem.

Leave him alone...park the truck and he will leave afterwhile.

As long as you are jacking with him he is just gonna stay where he is at.

Right now I have the truck sitting out in the sun running, gonna try to hotbox him out. There is 50 feet of hot concrete all around it, so maybe he'll climb down and stay in the shade under the truck.

I even revved it a few times to let him know I mean business.

Not gonna work.

Park the truck in a grassy area and turn off the engine and leave it alone. It will leave when it thinks its safe.

Flex seal your cab to prevent him from coming into the passenger compartment.

Flex seal comes in an assortment of colors now and depending on the color of your truck, you may be in luck.

Find some water about 2 ft. deep, drive off in it and sit. Don't do like some redneck from N. LA and drive through an area 10 ft. deep.

It's not a snake. It's just the serpent-ine belt.

It has to eat. It will leave on its own if you just leave it alone.

go turn the engine off or he will never leave. Grab a hunk of bologna from the fridge and drop it by the truck door, he will come out.

take pics.
