I heard some payrolls were paying back overpayments from January in this check

Don't think so. Pretty sure that your taxes will be corrected when you file next year. My company still hasn't applied the tax cuts and they can't tell me when they will be doing so.

I wish my wife made more than me. What's wrong with that?

Funny. Don’t hear anyone bitching and moaning about the “National Debt” anymore.

Yeah I tried doing the math with my commission and it gave me a headache

, you can check it against the IRS tables from 2017 and 2018. Just assume the same paycheck in both tables and see the difference.

I went from 12.72% taken out to 10.58%.

I'm salary + OT and had a little OT on this check. I grossed more money and paid less taxes.

Thanks Trump

I do math great. I don't work full time. I work when I feel like it. My check is never the same.

Same here as a non-exempt employee. Had 12 hours of OT and grossed more money and paid about $50 less in taxes.

2018 withholding tables on page 46

2017 table starts on page 27

Take your taxable wages from your most recent paycheck, less your allowances, and see how it shakes out in each year.
