I hope this means plastics and paper pricing will finally stabilize. I’m a buyer for a manufacturer and I’ve been receiving price increases almost monthly. Besides raw goods cost, oil prices don’t affect me personally as far as my job since we are a national brand, but I do feel for my in laws in Houma that own a bike shop. Bike sales have been better the past few months but they are down the past few years.

Him and those other jackasses were trying to upgrade the budget so we’d have another emergency shortfall in the budget. It was a wise move by the House Speaker not to raise the outlook when the current price of oil is $8 less then their estimate. That comes out to a $70 million difference.
The state’s economy has diversified to some degree but we still need more than just our natural resources to thrive. I’m tired of new corporate subsidies and tax breaks for companies and not the people.

I'd love to see gas at $10 a gallon, and if YOU have a 401k, you would too.
We all make money when crude is at $75-$85 a barrel.

Same here
Although I’m not directly in the oilfield, my high earning potential from my past field is not realistic at this time. Had to make some changes
