Judge is saying the sentence would have been worse than 22 years exceot the guy showed remorse in pre sentencing.
His outburst showed he had no remorse, plus past history of the same actions.

Sonit was less of an "addition"...it was more of a replacing of the years taken off when he ahowed remorse

Really? Dudes a lifelong criminal and told the same judge to suck his dick after getting a years sentence in the past...... Then, he tried to act remorseful during sentencing, but had that outburst. Sounds like the judge was being lenient until the frickstick acted like a piece of shite.

I remember when this guy was given thirty years and demanded to get 33 years. When the judge asked why, he said because that's Larry Bird's number.

Why do black people think all of their woes are due to white people? Doesn't make sense to me.

Convenient excuse to justify their actions or what?

He broke into somebody's home and held them prisoner while he robbed them. This is an individual who has made constant choices to not be a part of society. He has no empathy for anybody else and is a danger to anybody crossing his path.

Put him down like the rabid dog he is.

On one hand, Im not sure if I like how judges basically have the power to add however many years as theu see fit just because the accused was disrespectful in court... But on the other hand, this guy is a true pos and deserves every single day of his prison sentence. He gets 0 ounce of sympathy.

I agree with you on both points. If he would have kept his mouth shut, it wouldn't have happened. Nothing he said was going to change the outcome. Pointless and now he will suffer because of that.

Lol, that’s not true. What he said absolutely changed the outcome!

You hear people say it starts with parenting. And this is a perfect example. I remember when I was a kid and got in trouble, my mom grounded me for a week. What did I do? I said no I’m not, I can do what I want!!! She said oh yeah, make it 2 weeks!! Learned a valuable lesson that day.

"It was clear that the remorse he was trying to portray was phony and that he wasn't remorseful at all," the judge told WJW. "And that if given the chance, if I let him loose on society, he's going to prey on other people."

Smart judge.

Okay, let me clarify. Nothing he said was going to help him in getting his sentence reduced.

Couldn't agree more with this.

I guess. It just seems a bit over the top for an outburst.

Maybe you missed this part:

Lucci told WOIO Bryant's tirade wasn't his first in front of the judge. In 2014, when Lucci sentenced him to 12 months in prison, he said Bryant walked out of the court saying, "Suck my d---, judge." "It seems to be a repeat pattern with him,"

frick him.

It's absurd.

He basically got 22 years for his crime and 6 more years for contempt of court. That's a complete abuse of power.

Maybe the judge revoked his lenient sentence after it was clear the guy was not remorseful.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you and don't cuss the man that sentences you.
