Had to take a different route to the jobsite in Navasota due to about 3 foot of water over the road other than that it's just wet

Feeder band with swath of rain moving through Houston right now. Most of the metro area didn't get much rain yesterday, but it's here today...

It isn't raining in NW Houston right now. It rained pretty steadily for a little while mid-morning.

As Bill moves above the I-20 corridor the storm total for most of the Red River Valley been 1" to 2" through the noon hour. Isolated areas have received 2.5" to 3".

Maybe this fact filled post won't get wacked like the other fact filled post I made last night.

Mostly light rain in Nassau Bay all morning but getting a pretty good gully-washer right now. Barely had time to finish my cigar before the bottom fell out.

I live in a flood zone so I'm not looking forward to this.

We've had a steady, generally light, rain for the balance of the day and will likely linger into the evening. There is a Flood Warning for the Red River but not anything of a major consequence. I believe the center of Bill is still to our south and east

I am so pissed at congress about this Bill that I refuse to even read the OP. Just know I am vehemenently against the bill.

It appears to be moving to the right so I doubt if Obama would sign it anyway.
