At the rate they are going with finding the plane bitcoins will be worth next to nothing upon discovery.

That whole rational, calm "Bangkok Tower, this is MH370, mayday, mayday, mayday. We have a fire on board and request immediate clearance for emergency landing" is GONE.
idk... pilots go by the procedure most of the time.
if they were on fire, they would have sent out a transponder code or something.

yes I believe so

the Malaysian govt admitted that the plane never changed directions like they had previously stated
But then they asked India to help them search the Andaman Sea, which makes no sense if the plane never crossed back over the peninsula

Gotcha. Can't say that I blame them.

yeah but who the hell knows if they are being honest?
vietnam has pulled out of search operations because they think malaysia is FOS
True. Guess we'll have to wait for more info.
So is Malaysia saying they lost contact with the plane in the same area, but that it hadn't made a u-turn? Can someone post an updated picture of the known flightpath up to when contact was lost?

admins, there will be no thread derailing from me, I promise.
Did you get a PM? Chicken must be watching this thread like a fricking hawk ever since he cleaned it up yesterday.

If terrorist attack why no distress call
I took back what I said about the course the heading had to do where he saw it not what course it was on. My mistake

Unless they couldn't. Apoxia, fighting with terrorists, aliens, just a number of things could have prevented it - it is unlikely, I grant you, but the whole situation is very unlikely.
Unlikely to have a triple 7 involved in an aviation incident (I think this makes 10) - unlikely to have a plane disappear with no contact. Unlikely to have conflicting contact reports, apparently several hundred miles.
Aren't we pretty much swimming in the unlikely sea until we find the flight data recorder - and even then, we're likely to get only a more precise "what" and it is a toss up if we'll really get the "why" - (although I bet Boeing is praying the "why" is crew error/terrorism). Just my $0.02 at this point.

yes, I got wrapped up in that dumb shite yesterday.
I guess it was a misunderstanding on my part. it set me off for whatever reason
the possibilities of this plane being underwater or in a hangar bay are both there at this point

Im going with Q7 also.
9:30 at night now in Malaysia...seems we will have to wait until late tonight/early tomorrow to see any new developments from a search for the plane.

This whole airliner thing makes me think 4-8-15-16-23-42

Change mine to Q7.
The Malaysian military is just plain incompetent here. That plane did not go west. It is in the Gulf of Tailand; they just didn't search far enough east.

On probably the weirdest site I've ever been on (and that's saying something) as it has a heading of "Knowing China through Taiwan". But here is probably a tidbit of totally insignificant to this event news but you never know....
Breaking: Body wearing lifejacket reported found off Malacca
I am thinking this is the only report we will see out of this but it could also lead to finding the plane.
