I'm planning Thailand and Cambodia for my honeymoon. Can't wait to see Angkor Wat. I'm doing pretty good on my list of old shite I want to see before I die.

I think I saw that video once. Yes, I know for a FACT that I saw it.

I don't see why it would have been shot down by anyone other than terrorists.

I never thought about the faulty air defense angle but with a poor country like Vietnam, it sounds very plausible. I think the shot down theory needs a bigger %

Add this to the list of odd missing plane stories:
[quote]Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571: A flight headed to Santiago, Chile carrying 45 passengers and crew crashed into the Andes mountains in poor weather in 1972, killing 12 people. Authorities were unaware of any survivors for 72 days. In the meantime, eight were killed in an avalanche that hit the plane’s wreckage where they were taking shelter, and the remaining 16 resorted to cannibalism to stay alive, eating the corpses of the dead before they were finally found more than two months after disappearing out of the sky.

I would think both radar and satellite would pick up a missile attack

This whole situation is fascinatingly tragic.

I will get details. I could be wrong about Cambodia. I got so many texts that I may be thinking of somewhere else
It sounded like they were very impressed with Vietnam though.

Surely, this guy is worth 1% on the list of possible causes.

There are new satellite images from the area that people are using the to look for evidence. I didn't find the site very user friendly but interesting nonetheless. Hey, I guess you never know.
You find it

I find this whole thing completely odd.
On a side note, my uncle & cousin (11 years old) went duck hunting in Boston Harbor this past January. Mid-trip my uncle grabbed my cousins backpack to grab a kleenex to wipe his nose. As he opened the backpack, he saw a shite ton of leftover fireworks they had from New Years that my cousin planned to shoot off on the trip. He said his heart literally stopped when he saw the fireworks. Someone tell me how in the hell does that pass security?
I currently have no confidence in TSA

Have you ever? What did you expect from someone who needs a GED and their prior work experience includes Circle K, Taco Bell, and a Call Center?
Posted on 3/10/14 at 8:51 pm to Golfer
If that was their prior experience then they are overqualified for TSA.

Is that map with the new search area real? Now they think it may have flown back over Malaysia?
