I gotcha, yea, I dont know what they would stand to gain, unless someone or something on board had information of some new technology like the author suggested.

Like someone else said, there has to be a better way to get that information than hijack an airliner, kill all passengers and fly it discretely into Kazakstan.

I think its less suspicious than 1 person or several people who are connected to vanish. A plane crash in the Indian Ocean is something that the public can get behind.

Perhaps the motivation was simply to show the capability of accomplishing the heist.

Me too.

Notice how quickly they found the other recent ocean crash? That's what would've happened here, had it crashed.

The one they just found was only in about 200' of water and they knew where to look.

Air France and MH370 werent, or assumed to be in, much deeper water.

It's pretty obvious they flew the plane to Diego Garcia.

Dozens of high profile bankers have died under suspicious circumstances in the last couple of years and nobody has given much of a shite.

I read the article posted today and have a question, or two. Maybe I missed something.

He said that the information they used to track the plane was turned off and rebooted after three minutes. Everything from that point is assumed to be hacked data and manipulated.

Yet he still went to the arc, albiet the northern end, to find the last location? Why would he think the arc means anything if all the info is manipulated?

This is my theory, there never was a plane. CNN made the whole thing up in attempt to boost their rating.

You mean the list of all the bankers that ya'll keep posting every few months that takes about 10 minutes for someone to show the list is mostly bullshite?

I think because they are saying the BTO information is infallible; that only the BFO, which they used to determine the direction on the arc could be manipulated or spoofed.

I'll have to trust your assesment. Have no clue the difference between the two.

If that is the conclusion then it makes more sense.

Still seems odd that they would turn it back on and give any info at all. Instead of having to search a giant circle that would take years they narrowed it down to a single, although large, arc.

What difference has it made that the plane disappeared?

Well, yeah, the loss of loved ones is a given.

I'm talking about any major worldwide impact.

I think they rely on the doppler effect to determine direction from the BFO. Good point on why have it the device on at all, unless it was part of an otherwise critical system that couldn't be shut-down. The article did propose that the plane was landed with auto-pilot. No expert on ANY of this, just dabbling in this crazy-if-true theory. fricking Russians.
