You can bet your arse they found your aftershave and your suspicious-looking toothpaste.

one of those times when running late isn't a bad thing.
I would feel like final destination though.

They miss a lot. Back in 2002 when tension was really high my dad was at a party, and somehow ended up with the chefs knife in his carry on. It was wrapped in paper towels and still had frosting on it. But it was a big ol knife and he had it in his carry on.

How much time must pass before a supernatural (or extra-dmensional) explanation will be acceptable? A year? 5 years? 50 years? Many people (including me) believe that God came to earth as a human and was born of a virgin only 2000 years ago. Why would a plane snatching be out of the question?

Personally, I think it flew through Morgan Freeman's wormhole.

Apparently they were seeking political asylum in Europe.

Revised odds:

Blown up and they missed pieces: 70%
Alien abduction: 10%
Landed somewhere off course: 3%
Flew into space: 2%
Crashed fairly intact into water and sunk: 5%
Government conspiracy / cover-up: 5%
The Rapture: 5%

Yat?

TSA in Houston got me for having .5 oz bottle of aftershave not in ziplock bag. The horror.

Think the stolen passport holders were into human trafficking.

Can someone explain the human trafficking aspect?

As in someone (or a group) rerouted the plane and safely landed somewhere and sold all the passengers into slavery? (That's the best logic my feeble mind could come up with)

Makes sense if they cant find it.

Hijackers could have landed it somewhere and could be holding the passengers hostage or selling them.

I don't think the average Persian is a terror suspect. May really have been relocating. If this was the work of an Iranian group someone would have spoke up.

I would say being abducted by aliens is more plausible
