Anybody brought up Pakistan yet? Dude on Hannity earlier was eluding to the plane being in Pakistan and that we should hear something in the next 48 hours. He says the US knows what's up.
I saw that to, guy acted as of he had inside info. Basically said its in Pakistan and something will come out in the next 24-48 hours

Two women were removed from the room were they were being held by Malay police. The women were stormed by reporters. One of the women was thrown to the ground and trampled by the media. The police were trying to protect them from the vultures.
Police were successful with getting the women to another location.
In case anyone is interested here is some footage of this. LINK

Thanks. I was too lazy to find it.
Skynews was broadcasting live. They may have something too.

On Tuesday, for example, a law enforcement official told CNN that the aircraft's first major change of course was almost certainly programmed by somebody in the cockpit. The change was entered into the plane's system at least 12 minutes before a person in the cockpit, believed to be the co-pilot, signed off to air traffic controllers.
From CNN
Certainly points to theft rather than crash.

Hey CNN,
Stop showing the world how to hijack a plane. I meant, for Christ sakes nobody needs to know how to turn off the ACARS system on a 777. Sometimes it's the less you know.

Has CNN discussed anything else in the past week besides the plane?
It has been plane coverage 24/7.
It has been plane coverage 24/7.

Every time the Malaysian government says something is not true to the press, their assertions are proven to be false 24-48 hours later.

I've watched more news in the last ten days than I have in the past 6 years.

Many people are probably in the same boat as you. I just wonder what CNN can possibly be talking about with the plane for hours upon hours upon hours besides more theories and speculation. Do they just repeat the same stuff?

can we get an update please!! I stopped reading this thread bc it was the same old stuff. Now it appears we have some new information.
TIA

They showed Putin riding a horse but that's about it.
I actually think the CNN coverage has been the best minus the hijack manual they have created

Do you really think that Al Queda is taking notes from CNN? I have a sneaky suspicion that the terrorists already know how to turn off the transponder.

I doubt AQ has a study hall mate
Yea I could see some little shite heads taking notes and searching for more info online. It's not just transponders dude, they are going through, it's every step on how to hijack a plane. I find it unsettling.

I admit to not having seen it, but I'm assuming that they are showing the public the procedures that have already been followed in past hijackings. Are you concerned about some random kid from America who just decides on a whim to hijack and American airliner?

This is getting more and more ridiculous.

This post is quote worthy yet I find myself constantly looking for updates. For the first time in my life I feel like I need closure on an event.

No, I'm not necessarily talking about American kids learning to hijack. CNN is a global channel. It's not FOX or MSNBC. I don't want CNN doing this anymore than Al Jazeeras showing this type of footage inside an airplane.

They've showed how to turn off the transponder, said that you can tell the transponder to send out a hijack warning (but specifically did NOT show how to do that) and showed how to fiddle with ACARS to the point of changing the path of the airplane and stopping it from reporting most of the information. Not necessarily "secret" information, but still, they don't have to be so obvious about how easy it is to do such things. Of course, you have to get into the cockpit to be able to do any of that, and they haven't shown how to do that... yet. Anyone already in the cockpit... well, I'm assuming they already know how to do what CNN is showing us how to do.
