Seems silly to try to predict the mindset of someone that would do something like this. You can't apply logic to someone clearly behaving illogically.
Logic has no real function on a message board!

Nothing about this is just screaming terrorism IMO.
I'm not quite saying that.
If it was a suicide, there are signs that point to it being politically motivated. If a politically motivated suicide takes out 230 other people, that is an act of terror in my book.

The plane continued on its programmed flight path out over the middle Indian Ocean until it ran out of fuel and crashed.
Makes total sense. I agree.
But no other country picked up on it?
His flight path seemed like it would've been pretty deliberate..

Before disappearing completely over the Strait of Malacca.
South towards the Indian Ocean there is no radar to pick the plane up

So the pilot just coincidentally has a full blown 777 simulator in his living room and is obviously a very skilled pilot. The flight he is piloting goes missing for 10 days after all of the Radio & Electronics were disabled and to some extent was able to avoid radar detection and you guys think all of this leads to his intention of a suicide and nothing more deliberate and planned out????? That just seems ridiculous to me.
Agreed.. Just a lot of trouble for the end result to be a suicide crash

As opposed to flying north and never being detected on another countries radar? I find that more ridiculous.

I agree.
But what are the alternatives? Every alternative has significantly bigger holes in it than the suicide theory.

This.

I believe several countries know where it's at (at least one) but this turning into an opportunity to find out the capabilities of other countries. Idk I just can't imagine a plane disappearing with all the satellite technology out there.

I could see that for sure. Big game of poker...

It could be politically motivated but the family issues has the best traction. Moreover, this guy would have had to think about this plan in advance to pull it off IMO.

Here's my guess as to how this went down.
Co-pilot invites 5 hookers into the cockpit. Pilot is getting no action and becomes frustrated. He then killed the 5 hookers and the co-pilot. At that point the pilot is in a very precarious situation. Overcome with guilt, he climbs the plane and kills everyone else. He proceeds to go on a 7 hour bender while the plane is on autopilot. He drinks heavily and has sex with the 5 dead hookers. By that time he realizes that he must head back and confess to what he did. He has a moment where he thinks everything will be ok. But it's too late, the plane runs out of fuel and he dies in a firey ocean crash.

Journalist Steven Daglas tweeting that wreckage has potentially been spotted and that a Greek freighter is en route to location.
He posts some pretty cool pictures, although I have no idea about their legitimacy.
redditors doing werk
plane found?

Only issue I have with your story is what catches on fire?

The ocean. Can't you read?

This baby could be in the Indian Ocean.
It's 2.5 miles down to the bottom of the floor. A submarine is really the only chance of finding it down their.

Had enough fuel for approx 7500 miles
