Are people still clamoring to get into law school? If so, i sure hope as hell, they are telling you the truth about job placement.
Small percentage of you will get a job as a lawyer out of college.
And those that dude, median salary range will be in the mid to low 40's.
My advice, be the top of your class, or think about another career path.
Not a lawyer, but my wife is.

i could have gotten into med school
i had no interest in being a doctor
i should have gotten a major in econ, finance, or engineering, though. i'm not saying i was perfect in my decision making

Is the pass rate that low in Louisiana? The bar exam is easy as shite in TN. I believe it had something like an 87% pass rate when I took it in 2008.

It's not law school itself that is hard. Any idiot can read some outlines a week before an exam and pass the class. It's doing better than your peers so you can find a job after you graduate that's the hard part.

I could have been #1 in my class had I went to med-school. But I decided being a bellow average law student was more "my style."
