Has Ryno posted in here? I know houses on his street were hit with the Sienna tornado. One street over from him got torn up pretty good

He is alive and well in the Astro thread on the MSB

didn't watch the game last night due to being under siege by Harvey.lost power at 11pm then tornado hit our street at 1am. Scared the evwrliving shite out of us. Many neighbors took big damage. Somehow we were able to get out untouched other than minor debris and tree limbs. People across the street from me got hammered hard and 5 houses down took major damage to their home. I'm very thankful and putting baseball in its proper perspective today.

Our street got hit and the house you were considering buying got It the worst and the house next to it. Windows blown out and trees through the roofs. The 13th hole got devastated with free damage. We were very fortunate.

Good to hear. That's the only street I hadn't been down. I did hear the house in the culdesac had the wall torn down. St Charles, the legends, and Stones ledge on the 15th I think (can't remember the exact hole) are torn to shite. We know 5 people on that hole and the damage to the trees and their houses is nuts.

MESOSCALE PRECIPITATION DISCUSSION 0737 NWS WEATHER PREDICTION CENTER COLLEGE PARK MD 238 PM EDT SAT AUG 26 2017 AREAS AFFECTED...SOUTHEAST TX INTO SOUTHWEST LA CONCERNING...HEAVY RAINFALL...FLASH FLOODING LIKELY VALID 261840Z - 262245Z SUMMARY...BANDING ASSOCIATED WITH TROPICAL STORM HARVEY WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TX INTO SOUTHWEST LA THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. SIGNIFICANT FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED WHERE THE BANDING PERSISTS. DISCUSSION...THE GOES-16 IR CLEAN LOOP SHOWED THE BEST BANDING ASSOCIATED WITH HARVEY OVER THE UPPER TX COAST AND A PORTION OF SOUTHWEST LA...AND THIS IS CONFIRMED BY REGIONAL RADARS. THE KHGX RADAR SHOWED HOURLY RAINFALL RATES BETWEEN 1.50 AND 2.50 INCHES ASSOCIATED WITH THE BEST BANDING BETWEEN HOUSTON TX AND LAKE CHARLES LA. THE BANDING FEATURES EXTEND OVER THE GULF OF MEXICO AS WELL...AND THE TRAJECTORY FOR THE ELONGATED BAND APPEARS TO BE OVER PORTIONS OF THE UPPER TX COAST DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. THE LOW LEVEL CYCLONIC FLOW (PER REGIONAL VWP) IS EXPECTED TO FOCUS THESE BANDS ON THE EASTERN SIDE OF THE CIRCULATION....WHICH WILL EXTEND INTO PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST LA. PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST LA HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED THEIR AVERAGE YEARLY RAINFALL...AND REMAINS SENSITIVE TO ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL. THERE IS A SOLID HIGH RESOLUTION MODEL SIGNATURE (LED BY THE MOST RECENT HRRR) FOR ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN 4.00 AND 8.00 INCHES BETWEEN KLBX AND KBPT... AND THIS LOOKS REASONABLE BASED ON THE CURRENT POSITIONING OF THE BANDING ON SATELLITE AND RADAR. THE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT FLASH FLOODING WHERE BANDING PERSISTS... ESPECIALLY IF THE BANDING AFFECTS THE HOUSTON METRO AREA. AS THE BANDS DRIVE FURTHER INLAND...FLASH FLOODING COULD BECOME A CONCERN AS FAR NORTH AS KUTS AND SOUTH OF KLFK. HAYES

Over DFW 1 week from today

Will it still be dumping rain at that point? I'm trying to decide if I need to cancel a road trip from NOLA to OKC next Thursday.

12z Euro showing potential for 20-40" of rain. Just note, placement won't likely match up and distribution won't be as smooth. Take away, 12z models still show potential for crazy totals yet to come for many.

No way to tell, your best bet is to follow the NWS forecast.

Yes my buddy who lives in st. Charles right next to 14 green had the windows explode in his master bedroom and glass land all. Over his bed with him in it. Shingles and crap blowing in through the hole. .

It's too late. I just looked outside and there is an empty solo cup on the ground.

I just did't have enough warning.
