Nobody cares what someone else is wearing. But when you are only there occasionally and are too much of a child to dress appropriately while writing it off as being “down to earth”, yeah people with a shred of decency are going to notice.

Went to mass this morning. Only saw 1 PFG but did see a guy wearing golf pants, shirt and golf shoes. He left after communion guess he had a tee time

Didn’t see fishing shirts. But plenty of folks (lots of children) dressed up and some in shorts. It’s a young church with a sprinkling of older folks and very diverse. Quite different than the southern Baptist I’m used to. Went on an invite. Not my style of music, but it’s great to see so many young serious about their faith.

I never said I wanted to agree or didn't want to agree with scripture.
My beef is not with jesus or any denomination of Christianity.
It's about people in this state who are, by and large, shitty who use Christianity as a crutch to be assholes. And then don't have the decency to dress like an appropriate human.
I go to church rarely, but when I do I don't wear a fricking fishing shirt and jeans. I wear slacks and a dress shirt and even then I'm worried I'm dressed down.
This has nothing to do with Jesus and more to do with a shitty cohort of people who pretend to be nice and holy when they just aren't.
