I just wanted to thank my new internet friends for sharing this with me last night. No one that I know in real life gives a shite about Ferguson, except for my friend from MO, and she didn't want to watch last night. It was definitely more fun to watch the feeds with others who share my intrest than by myself like last time. 
I hate it for the innocent people in the area, but dammit last night was fun.

Last time shite would kick off around 10pm every night.
Last night wasn't like last time, in my opinion. Last time they would actually start off peacefully protesting until the shite starters got out around 10pm. Last night, they started setting shite on fire as soon as the decision was announced.

I am imagining much the same, less the media frenzy...but more violence from law enforcement.
Of course, our 30 year old Chevrolet Suburban-based BearCat riot trucks that Ferguson has glued together probably look downright tame and pedestrian next to what the Russians would use to surprise a riot. I also imagine they'd use tear gas more liberally, along with real bullets.

I've never been a part of any true police scanner thread besides Boston Bombings, so it may not be fair for me to pass judgment, but Boston can't ever be topped.
It and the Bobby Petrino mistress wedding guestbook on the SECR are TD's finest moments in my tenure here, and I just don't see how they can be topped.
