Well, we already know at least two NBA players have tested positive, so cancelling games they were involved did in fact do something.
If they didn’t cancel the season, those positive players would have been held out from play for a time period
As of now, the cancelled the season, so where exactly do you think those two players are going? They aren’t just disappearing. They are still going to go hang around more than 30 people a day....

Looks like Zachary schools are closing, don't know for how long.
