BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - A police officer was shot during an incident at a gas station in Bossier City on Tuesday, May 2, a representative with the Bossier City Police Department confirms.

quote:

Officers responded to a shots fired call at around 10:30 a.m. the Valero gas station on Industrial Drive off I-20 near E Texas Street. That’s when officials say someone exited the station and gunfire was exchanged.

A BCPD officer was shot and taken to an area hospital. He is said to be in stable condition.

Louisiana State Police say they are only investigating the officer-involved shooting, not the reported robbery that initially brought officers to the scene.

quote:

BCPD says there are multiple others injured, but have not said how many people or the extent of their injuries. One person is in custody at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

My brother works on a nearby fire dept. and his captain got info from someone he knows in Bossier and said:

“Guy robbed the Valero on industrial. Shot the clerk and a customer in the head, both died. Shot a guy pumping gas in the leg. Shot the cop in left leg, went thru left femoral, thru his balls and thru and out the right leg. Got the story from a guy that was on scene. Found and caught the guy that did the shooting and they didn’t kill him, which he was surprised about.”

“Just talked to the nurse in the room when he got to Ochsner. Also was shot in the left shoulder, left jaw (bullet still there) and left neck. But she also said that he will be ok.”

It isn’t doing as great a job anymore. That’s why people with sense are starting to get out of Bossier City and head to Benton and Haughton.

Bullet thru the balls must be a bit uncomfortable.

unfortunately with the future shitty DSLD-type high density developments and apartments on the horizon, will need a jet pack to get out. The “leaders” think in terms of tax base.
