A caller this morning on talk radio in BR said "her friend" was "out there" last night when it went down and "she say" he was handcuffed when he was shot. The hosts asked her if her friend actually witnessed the shooting and she kept say "she was out there". They asked her if she had given a statement to the police about what she witnessed and of course she has not. When the hosts say that there is body cam and cameras from the apartment complex that will show what really happened. They asked "Do you think the LA State Police are lying about what happened?" She said "Yes, I do.". So, the narrative is already spread. The next claim will be the body cam video has been doctored.

Their leader SWB said to wait 'til they get all the facts before they throw their tantrums, bricks, and block traffic for a child abuser

I don’t know exactly why the police were called last night or by whom, but they were called and a man ended up dead because of their involvement. There are many questions we need to ask ourselves before involving the police. We KNOW that the police here lack training, we KNOW there is a history of militarized techniques, we KNOW they will be armed and prepared to use force. We KNOW that with the police there is a chance of death. Period.
Who are Community mediators? What are the local trauma resources? What organizations are there that can help deal with cases of domestic violence, mental health, human trafficking? How are we building our communities to be self-sustainable and safe when it comes to interactions with law enforcement?
We have been taught to react in this way: pick up the phone and call 911 for anything we don’t want to or feel we can’t handle. We have to evaluate our thinking.
So if this persons child is endangered/abused/or being abused you think they would call a mediator before the police? Doubtful.

They were sent at the request of a social worker. For her protection. From a known abuser.

Innit amazing? These same people who always talk about child abuse and domestic abuse are about to rally around this scumbag who's own children were scared of him

Seems to be a pattern. Remember, the one that started it all had a very extensive history with the police.

Toney pleaded guilty in 2014 in a 2012 incident in which his 19-month-old daughter was hospitalized with third-degree burns over about 15 percent of her body. Investigators also learned that the baby had many fractures -- including to her skull, arm, leg and collarbone -- in different stages of healing.
Toney was sentenced to seven years in prison with credit for time served. The rest of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years. He failed to report to the state Probation and Parole office and was arrested a couple of months later in an attack on the mother of that child, who was described at that time as his ex-girlfriend. His probation was revoked in April 2016.
So why wasn't he in jail last night?

yeah esp when their own children has experienced supposed abuse. you'd think they would be a little more sensitive to it.
