Cops don't arrest kindergartners.

What is he supposed to do?

Not arrest a girl kindergarten-age kid who was sitting in a chair and not harming anyone at the time of his arrival would have been a good idea.

In my world, the one where children are raised by civilized people. Kindergartners don't kick and punch teachers.

This child was acting out in the exact manner she has either been taught, OR HAS BEEN DONE TO HER.

Her "parents" need to be investigated thoroughly.

I raised my kid to be a respectful, self-sufficient, honest and reliable person.

Well, I suppose it is easier to raise kids by having them constantly follow orders.

Being as you have no qualms about putting cuffs on small children for small problems, how often did you do that to your kids?

None of this removes blame from the stupid arse cop who arrested a 6 year old man. Not arresting a 6 year old is just good old fashioned common sense.

You're a real piece of work.

Too much of a POS to even honor your stupid, pathetic arse with a serious reply.

Something tells me yours will see plenty of handcuffs. Followed by threads you make, "look, Junior is a real baw."

I guarantee you that this type of behavior happened in whatever year of antiquity you grew up in. The difference is that A) you never got news alerts directly to your pocket computer telling you about every occurrence of it and B) it probably didn’t end with a kindergartner in the back of a police car.

Putting 6 year olds in police cars isn’t parenting.

Well, not good parenting anyway.

My son isn't 6 yet, but when he is, if he starts hitting and kicking teachers and staff I won't be upset if they put him in the cop car.

Now, I'm also going to be a responsible parent and make sure that my son doesn't turn into someone that would do anything like that.

When I went to school. Teachers hit back. Parents also would have lit your arse up.

My generation wasn't raised as a bunch of participation trophy vaginas.

Educators calling the police because a six year old is 'battering' them is fricking ludicrous.

unless you are like 80, then your generation absolutely was, or your generation was the one that gave them out

I know I received participation trophies in the 80s/90s

Down votes incoming.

I found the guy who won't be getting called to the police station over his kids.

Not sure why so many in this thread see this as awful.

Sorry, I am still cringing you think it's ok to handcuff 6 year old kindergarteners.

If it wasn't handcuffs in your trailer I am sure it was something else, like beatings or bloody noses to your kids to make sure youre the boss.

It must be something they can teach to their kids when they grow up?

All of this makes me wonder how you treated your wife.

Did she learn her place too?

There might just be easier ways to handle a 6 year old other than using a police officer.

There are several, but the teachers aren't allowed to employ any of them, and the parents are fine with their kid being a brat.

No, my parents generation gave out arse whippings when you got out of line.

So did educators.

We had a former football coach turned assistant principal in high school. The Iwo Jima thread brought him to mind the other day. He landed in the first wave and fought 18 straight days that they didn't even get to change socks.

I could imagine one of us taking a swing at him.

I treated mine better than the "baws" treat yours while you're at work.
