- People that preface their question with "Can I ask you a question?" Just ask it! And half the time it's something simple, like "Can I ask you something... what time do you close?" Why all the build-up for a routine question?

- Have a co-worker that constantly asks questions assuming I know the context. She'll get an e-mail and ask "What's this e-mail about??" as if I can see what she's looking at. Or she'll be having a conversation with someone in the office just barely within my earshot then I hear her say "What do you think about that, Bob?", like I was supposed to be listening to them the whole time. I don't know, Karen, let me drop what I'm doing to figure out what you're talking about.

To make it worse, she's also the type that will talk out loud to herself or ask rhetorical questions. So I just tune her out. Then suddenly she's asking a real question and doesn't understand why I wasn't paying attention to her.

- ETA to rephrase: When the boss lectures everyone about not abusing your lunch break, but then comes and asks you trivial work questions while you're on your break

What else ya'll got?

Sounds like your workplace needs more team building exercises.

Uh oh, if the boss is getting that ticky tack he's working his way up to a little office purge.

When people turn casual Friday into their way of showing how trendy the can be.

Just wear some jeans and a tucked in collard shirt and stop trying to show how cool you are.

Also a grown man in a suit that wears some sort of cartoon socks. Grow up!

Our severely overweight purchasing assistant just explained how much she wanted to frick one of our vendors, and if she wasn't married she would.

Happy today is my last day here...

I made it sound worse than it is. Some folks really abuse their breaks, so once a year at the company meeting it's brought up. It's not really aimed at me, I just can't help but get annoyed at the hypocrisy

Gum-popping, hearing their texts chime, loud talking, excessive coughing...

Those would be annoying. Fortunately, I use my office at home for work.
