Objects in the night sky

For the past week or so, I’ve been looking in the night sky between 9:15 and 9:40 pm and have seen at least 5 illuminated objects going through the sky per night that I don’t know what they are.
Each of them looked like stars moving across the sky and would appear and disappear at different points. They aren’t shooting stars, the speed is relative to that of a satellite and they look like satellites.
I’m 1000% sure what I’m seeing is not airplanes. Airplanes are easily noticeable by their blinking lights and move very slowly across the sky at high altitudes. What I’m seeing is much much higher (outside the atmosphere) and move rather quickly across the sky.
At first I thought they were satellites because that’s exactly what they look like. Then I got my night sky app out which displays satellites and each time there were no satellites visible on the app.
I believe these objects are visible during the time frame mentioned above not because they are illuminated, but rather that’s the only time the sun’s reflection off of them make them visible. This would also explain why the visibility of these objects fade in then fade out at different points of the sky.
These objects move in straight lines while visible and travel in no particular order or direction. I wouldn’t say they were extraterrestrial in nature as the movement appears to be able to sustain human life (not whipping or zigzagging).
What are these things?

Perhaps they are aliens? That's what I should think at a minimum

There is all kinds of unexplainable stuff out there. I’ve seen it and many of my friends of family have seen it. Just sit back and hope for disclosure soon.

There are about 5,000 satellites in orbit right now
I doubt your app tracks very many of them

Well they aren’t satellites because of the firmament.
I would say it’s weather balloons the government is using to control people by manipulating the weather and spread stuff in the atmosphere to geo-engineer humans

Probably just swamp gas

Do they look like this:
LINK
SpaceX put up 60 new satellites last week as the first deployment in their new global satellite internet plan called Starlink. They are probably farther apart now than in the video. Eventually there will be 12,000 satellites to cover the entire globe.

Satellites. Not sure if tumble is the correct term, but some tumble where the light reflecting back disappears for a bit
Nothing out the ordinary

Download the app Sky Guide and as they pass over point your phone at it and it will tell you what it is and lots of info on it.

I've seen it. I've seen one stop and reverse direction

There are dead military satellites and other unofficial orbiters that won't show up on trackers. If reflecting light, they will appear faint, not blink, and move across the sky.
