Ok OT, fess up. Which one of you gave the White House Travel Planning Office the 1985 edition of the Baton Rouge Visitor's Guide?

I wonder if Lloyd (I guess that's his name) slammed down a peppermint for Obama.

I'd love to hear on what metrics you based that stupid arse comment. Dummy.
You could have said 60s or 70s and alot of older folks would agree with you. But the 80s were frickin horrible here.

Or Bon Marche Mall to see Indiana Jones.
Dude. the ONLY thing that was better in 1985 BR than 2016 BR was 4th of July downtown.

Wrong based on traffic alone.
In no other state have I seen construction or a wreck hold up traffic for as long as it does in BR

Apparently enjoyed himself so much that he ended his speech by saying "Thank you, New Orleans."
Presidents don't respect us much. I guess all cities are interchangeable "in that part of the world".

Shouldn't he have stayed at the 10 Flags Inn on Airline then?

I will admit that sometimes it's a mystery that a city of BR's size has the traffic it does, but it doesn't hold a candle to what I see daily now that I live in Houston. Just have a reflection of a blue light that looks like a cop is stopped on the shoulder or something and every mofo is going from 80 to 15 mph. And once that happens, you've got 20 minutes of traffic.
