You could have said 60s or 70s and alot of older folks would agree with you. But the 80s were frickin horrible here.

Dude. the ONLY thing that was better in 1985 BR than 2016 BR was 4th of July downtown.

In no other state have I seen construction or a wreck hold up traffic for as long as it does in BR

Have you lived in other states?


I will admit that sometimes it's a mystery that a city of BR's size has the traffic it does, but it doesn't hold a candle to what I see daily now that I live in Houston. Just have a reflection of a blue light that looks like a cop is stopped on the shoulder or something and every mofo is going from 80 to 15 mph. And once that happens, you've got 20 minutes of traffic.
