I don't understand why this happens and sometimes in great hospitals too. A friend of mine was in the Mayo clinic and was given Salmon twice even though he has a seafood allergy. He caught it but, cmon.

What kind of mentally handicapped people do they have working there who would not only pour the stuff but also make the lady drink it? It said she couldn’t feed herself. Scary.

Problem may be that seafood handled in or around shellfish can cross contaminate.
Other part could be iodine issues, as the main person I know with a shellfish allergy developed it after having their thyroid removed due to Hashimoto’s Disease.

Happens anywhere where the practice of hiring at the Lowest Common Denominator exists. Just look at Europe.
