Yes, this true. I've posted stuff like that many times.
However, in our quest for lower crime rates we have (seemingly) given cops the right to trample on the Constitution.
The reality is that crime rates have fallen b/c we are locking up criminals longer.

I think this is his most important quote. Regardless of race, this was just fricking stupid and the cops should be put on unpaid leave and probably fired (but nothing will happen). Why would 5 plain clothes cops need to do this and not announce who they are or what they're doing?
And if they had the right guy, why would 5 men need to get rough with a non-violent scammer like that?

While that may be true, he posed no threat to the officers (CC FRAUD??)
The practice is what is in question
I highlighted the race (along with the media), but the point is the police tactics used. Completely unnecessary.

The whole big law enforcement / big prison racket is badly in need of a complete and total overhaul.
The system should not be used for revenue generation (its primary purpose at present), should not be hiring unqualified thugs and should be held even more accountable than the general public when caught engaging in criminal behavior including but not necessarily limited to assault, battery, breaking and entering / home invasion / trespassing / unlawful entry into an inhabited dwelling, extortion, racketeering and murder.
