Here's my bold prediction if the police brass green lights paying cops to strike:
There will be multiple videos of off-duty police officers looting.

Three reasons.
1. It gives the city leaders a chance to do whatever it is that cops want.
2. It gives NYPD brass advanced notice and time to sign-off on paid leave in accordance with departmental regulations.
3. gives criminals more time to plan ahead. The police are going to want the crime to spike in order to show how badly they are needed.
Here's the thing though. Southerners have this misconception that New Yorkers are pussies that will bend the knee like they do in Seattle, but that couldn't be further from the truth. My experience with native New Yorkers and people from north Jersey especially (who often work in NYC) is that they will fight at the drop of a hat.

It’s called the militia and when they defend themselves there won’t be any cops to arrest them so it’ll be anarchy between skateboard throwing, rock throwing, sign holding hollering SJW versus gun toting citizens.
