NYE in Baton Rouge--Where to go cheap/easy?

A small group of single middle aged folks would like to maybe go out tonight and so something laid back and inexpensive. Last couple of years, we went to Happy's downtown, but Happy's no longer exists.
So what is open in BR that doesn't charge a ridiculous cover?

Try a pizza place that has a bar/grille. But make sure that it uses the “e” on the end.
