CNN story

[quote]A New York City woman was arrested after her two pit bulls attacked a man on the street.

Cynthia Oliver, 55, was in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx Friday when her pets came off their leash and lunged at a 62-year-old man heading into a church, the New York Daily News reported.

Police told the Daily News that the woman ordered the dogs to attack, but the victim said they attacked on their own.

Graphic video of the assault shows the dogs biting and dragging the bloody victim as horrified witnesses try to help.

I have given up on Pit Bull threads, but I will say it again...every dog has a bad day, when a pit bull has a bad day, it's usually deadly.

I scolded a man in public yesterday when he was walking his pit bull around outside a busy and major shopping mall. I was sitting outside at a cafe, and I saw this dude further down the sidewalk. I got out of my seat, opened the little gate to leave the cafe, and walked over and ripped the guy to shreds. Told him that there are innocent children around and that he has no fricking business walking that piece of shite killing machine around. The man cursed me out, which brought attention to the scene and attracted a security guard to the confrontation. The guard immediately took my side ans said that only a person with very little judgement would even PONDER bringing such a beast into a public space like a fricking Sunday afternoon shopping mall. The guard kicked the man out of the area after taking his picture, and assured me that he would make sure the man is banned from the mall for the foreseeable future.

As I walked back to the cafe, I could already hear people cheering at my altruistic and humane deed. The amount of clapping appeared to be far more bountiful than the small number of people sitting outside of the cafe could muster with their hands, so I assumed that someone must have gone inside to tell the interior customers about what was going on. Feeling proud and worthy of applause, instead of simply sitting back at my seat, I chose to open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur.

When these idiot owners are held criminally liable for the carnage their animals leave in their wake we'll start seeing less of these little abominations.

On a side note: there was an article last night on the local news about a dog that has had 19 separate incidents that they were having a hearing about. They let the owners have the dog back. How could they be that stupid? I guess it's going to take the animal killing a child before they do something.

Is that a Serta mattress because I'm looking to purchase a new bed and that one looks like it has really held its own over the last few months.

I don't see what the big deal is with needing an ID to vote when it's just laying right there in the middle of the floor.

I think the curtains are too high, they should completely cover that heater. Maybe wrap it around a couple of sockets just in case.

Looks like the dogs had their way with the top of an orange traffic cone and brought it back to the apartment.
