i already posted the GDP numbers. NYC has grown at a much higher rate than the nation at large.
the idea that the economy in New York is bad or worsening is hilarious. I know that's not *exactly* what you're saying, but it's heavily implied.

Domestic flights Delta is better than the budget airlines but United and American have better expirences, IMO. I also hate flying into Atlanta so that may have a lot to do with my flying exp as well.

For the flights I've been on vs price of said flights. Granted, I am based in Houston, so I've flown mostly on United (and foreign carriers) and frankly Delta tickets are always more expensive than the other two, and the service has been meh.
I cannot take someone seriously who puts American over Delta.

Same. As long as I maintain my status with Delta and keep getting upgraded, I'll be happy to keep flying with them regardless of their political stances.

Well to be fair I never said it happens every time, but I've been upgraded enough to make it worth my while to stick with Delta.

And to the OP et al, the tax cut Ol Cagle referneces is a cut on fuel taxes, not corporate taxation. Delta already has a sweetheart deal with the local and state entities. The fuel tax has very little impact on their decision making. They have a critical mass at ATL, and its not like they can just up and move the CRJ-900 flying to Tallahassee and reroute it to their hub at DTW or MSP.
Hub economics play a big part and ATL is the most profitable and hands down the best hub (from an airline's standpoint) in the U.S. airline industry.

Again I said nobody said that. But it's part of a larger effort by conservative media to paint more liberal cities as hellholes which people and businesses are fleeing in droves. This narrative is also parroted on here often. Your blanket statement was at least partially fueled by this false narrative IMO.
For some businesses it does make sense to have operations based there. For example, what you lose in more taxes you may be able to make up for in more skilled talent than you can't find in other places.

I get that, I was Gold when I lived in Chicago and even though I was in a city with three hubbing airlines I was shooting 30% for F, 75% for W.
I thought my odds would be higher with a bunch of AA/UA/WN elites flying there, but I underestimated Delta's ability to hit their 75% sold F goals.

I don't think anyone implied the NY has a bad economy. Kind of helps when you have the biggest city by population in the US, major hub for international financial sector, and one of the biggest ports on the east coast.
But just because the NY economy is doing well doesn't make it an attractive place for established businesses to relocate their HQ there due to the high NY taxes, especially to relocate from a state thats in the top 10 lowest corporate tax rates.
