Sort of a west coast version of "The sky is falling" except their water supply is endangered in many many ways.

First, you start a roux

Next, you cook some rice.

They need to send out the sheriff and the county militia for target practice a la Harry Lee and his Jefferson Parish deputies.
Oh, wait, they don’t like guns out there.

What if the nutria identify as people? Cali better think this through

It’s Cali. It has a better chance if identifying as a Delta Smelt.

They are too much of pussies to go and kill them like we do though

I always wondered if Tanden had Mexican relatives.

The solution is simple. California is too caught up in their feelings to let it happen.

We used to have a Nutria Rodeo here yearly until the gator population rebounded some years back and took care of that little problem.
No more rodeo.

The population has flourished in my pond in mississippi, cant kill them fast enough, got about 5 yesterday... maybe I should introduce an alligator to the ecosystem...

Does Louisiana still have the bounty on nutria tails?

I still can't believe the media put a hit on him like that.

They are cute little buggers. I'll give 'em that.
Taste acceptable too. LA and San Fran has a ridiculous homeless problem. Put those people to work catching, killing, cooking, and then eating them.
