While her lies made the Birmingham area a Carlee centric universe, two firefighters were shot xxxx there
I can't help but think that the manpower wasted on that woman could have been better used solving the murder and attempted murder.
eta two were shot and one survived. We'll take that as good news. corrections made above thanks to poster below

From what I've read, the only charges currently would be misdemeanor charges which the DA can bring.
Guster mentioned obstruction of justice and the theft as possible felony charges...for the theft, it would depend on the value of what was stolen...i don't know what the circumstances would have to be for the obstruction...

Has it been confirmed that she failed out of nursing school? I would think that career path is gone regardless of she failed or not

How was a toddler running 40 mph?

I still don't know what felony she has committed to warrant needing the DA to bring charges.
Seems more like Hoover passing it over to the county so they don't take heat for bringing charges.
I've got 17 downvotes for this. Tell me what felony she can be charged with that warrants the county DA to be involved?
She can be charged by Hoover for a misdemeanor TODAY for false information provided to a police officer.

Is this some sort of Alabama deal where the DAs only charge if there are felonies? I've never heard of that. That's the question.

I don't know but I do know a City in Alabama can prosecute a misdemeanor. They don't turn it over to the DA

If that would have been true, s/he needed to get in touch with Olivia Dunne for an NIL deal.

At least she's admitting that this was all a lie. That's a good start, however, there is a 100% chance that she was not alon. Someone was helping her. So she's still lying.
I'm hoping the police can figure out this story, even if Carlee never stops lying.

I dont want her to go to jail, I want her parents to get the fat bill that any of our parents wouldve received had the circumstances been equal. Let them sort it out with their precious daughter. Hit them with that LE overtime, supplemental overtime, special overtime plus retirement bennies bill. Square up with Hoover taxpayers.
She’s 25.
Her parents won’t be getting g the bill she will.
Let her file bankruptcy and ruin her credick for 7 years

Does the DA where you live prosecute trespassing,?

Do they actually prosecute trespassing, or is it their responsibility to prosecute trespassing? Two different questions.

Mommy is an enabler. Not sure about daddy. Mommy will bail her out and pay it.

The DA charges and prosecutes many misdemeanors.
City courts are limited on criminal matters. I think no fines over $1000 and no sentences over 6 months. Does Hoover have limits?
What’s the most she could get for the possible charges?

She's 25, I wonder if her parents still claim her so she has medical insurance. If so, they might be civilly responsible but check me on that.

Idk how Alabama works, but police typically turn in recommended charges and the evidence that supports it. A prosecutor formally charges someone.
A felony charge requires a grand jury to hear the case and then issue an indictment. Misdemeanor can be charged by prosecutors and they typically have wide latitude on if it’s charged.
I’m not in the legal system but I did do jury duty once in the 90s.

Maybe rooster is a lawyer in AL and can expound further rather than asking about trespassing. He asked a question rather than answering.
Carlee is now 26. I don’t know how her parents could be responsible for her debts.
