This is because men must work to create their worth to women. It should necessarily increase over time. Women are born with 100% of their worth to men and it gradually diminishes over time. Men and women just want different things.

Men aren’t as apt to make decisions based on emotions and usually don’t have a hive mentally like women.
Plus, women are filing for divorces over men by a wide margin and men have way more to lose in a divorce than women.

As the OP mentions it is the phones.
Back in the 90s and before, people went out to meet other people. It was just part of life. The phone has replaced that.
Also, I used to think online dating would lead to much higher marriage rates and be an overall benefit to society. Shy or average looking people could find someone similar… boy was I wrong.

If you don’t think women are more hive minded, I don’t know what to tell you. Watch any social justice rally, any protests against ICE, and the current rally for the baby killer and it’s almost all white women egging each other on. And it’s no different with divorce. Divorced friends of married women encourage their married friends to seek divorces because misery loves company.

As a single male I can report that Church has nothing to do with it. It’s the fact that American women are not worth the hassle anymore. The ones who are worth the hassle are already taken. The ones that are left are either whores with a roster, batshite crazy, have 4 kids with 4 different baby daddies, addicted to drugs, unable to pay their own bills, or a combination of all of those.

I’m not sure this is true. Back then, a woman needed to marry a man and have children for protection, intimacy, and access to the good life, whether it be financially or socially. And they knew they had to do that at a young age to avoid the stigma and higher risk of not getting the chance to. Now the game has changed. Women can get all those things themselves plus the excitement of dating without any fear of that ending until their late 30s, which in general is when they started thinking like the eligible younger women from that time. But had the modern rules been in place back then it would’ve been the same.
And for the record, if average men had the same chances with 9 or 10 women, they would hold out just the same. They already do if you count Onlyfans and Instagram

I think the point was that if you read the political board or threads like this you see men doing the same thing.
