Thats confessing to murder

You use it to stop a serious threat.

And how do you do that when you pull a gun out?
Gunshots aren't meant to harm someone. They are meant to kill someone.

when is the serious threat actually stopped? Just b/c the guy was shot a few times in the back doesnt' mean the threat is completely neutralized.

Yep Unfortunately. Even though the guy jammed him with his vehicle, assaulted him with a bat, the second he fled it's over. I would be surprised if this isn't murder. I see why he did it. But the shots at the end, don't help his case.

We also have no idea what led to this.

If this happened more often, we would be much more cordial to one another.

That's the thing. The shooter does not have to worry about retaliation now.

Probably when the guy is several feet away laying prone on the ground facing away from you.

That shooter is screwed if they are able to identify him.

I don't think you should be taking chances once a gun comes out. A cop wouldn't chance it, they'd keep shooting. No matter how small the chances are the threat might get back up, you assume they are still a threat.

If you click on that twitter account and see a few more of those shootings, you'll see one where a guy gets shot in the chest point blank (even though he starts shooting first and misses), and falls to the ground, only to try to get back up and get his gun while he's spraying blood everywhere through the two holes in his back, and fortunately the other guy that shot him saw it before he got the gun back and was able to get to that gun first.
Perfect example of a threat that was thought to be neutralized, but wasn't. Hell we saw one a while back where that guy got shot in the neck and was spraying blood all over the place, and he was still shooting back for a few seconds before he finally lost too much blood and died in the turnstile.

Once you start shooting at someone, you should finish the job. You didn't bring the gun out and start shooting to scare them off. You brought it out to kill the guy.

This is barbarism.

what?

If you don't like what guns do, then just say that.
You're taught to keep shooting until the threat is completely stopped. I can promise you it won't be hard to find a video of other people being shot, falling to the ground face first, then turning around and still remaining a threat.

Not guilty if he stays shooting him from his vehicle. That changed the moment he followed him and shot him while he was faced down.
