Hush boomer. The "Tony Spell" attitude of this state will lead to its death.

fiscal matters allowed to be discussed in a special session?

yes if that's the reason for the special session. They are already talking about spec sessions in late summer & fall to allocate federal money that's been promised to the state.

They are all up for bribery and campaign finance violations, but those are hard to prove. Legal Gambling and Weed?!?! "GASP!! I would never"

Those idiots would rather the state completely implode than legalize things they think would go against their own perceived moral code.

You really think legalizing the sale of marijuana and sports betting is going to push the current sellers out of business ? They sell with NO taxes, why in the hell would anyone pay MORE for the same thing you can get today ?

JBE will be forced to call special sessions to address the "new fiscal cliff" and raise taxes. They might as well start with gambling, weed and other vices.

Good luck with that....they won't even legalize fantasy sports after the people freaking voted for it.

I’m going to assume you don’t smoke weed and never have. Same for sports betting.

They would frick it all up, we already legalized fantasy sports by a vote of the people but the scumfrick politicians greasy filthy paws weren't greased enough. Sad sad, as long as the inner cities are vote farms for corrupt dems and the easily fooled low IQ evangelicals are stupidenough to vote for a shyster like Honor Code we are beyond fricked, the best thing for the state is an apocalyptic collapse at this point.
