There is not enough money in the world to get me to do that for a living. Had the main sewer line from my house to my modad stop up around 730 tonight. Sewage backing up in all toilets and tubs. No way I could deal with that shite for a living.

Good money in plumbing.

You don't even have to wrangle turds to be one. A construction plumber makes bank.

It amazes me how well everything works on its own for years and years.

Yeah of course problems arise..but generally speaking we are all surrounded by pipes in our walls and underground that work flawlessly for decades

You paid what, $150/hr for his service? There are worse things you could do, and for cheaper.

My buddy inspects commercial backflow preventer valves

$300 bucks a pop for 20 minutes of work.

It's the thing that prevents raw sewage from getting into drinking water

As long as you're not dumping stuff you shouldn't be down the pipes there shouldn't be a problem.

Nah luckily my friends dad owns a couple car washes and he had a snake. Took care of the issue myself. But no matter the pay couldn't bust clogs for a living.

Service plumbers aren't raking it in but can make a decent living. I know two new construction plumbers very well as both have/do sub work for me. They do very well.

I know plenty do very well but people on here talk like the mean income is 100k & not 50k.
