I understand why he said that.

"I hate being part of a story"... But look at what the bad man said and talk about me

We don’t believe you.

Is this chick from San Antonio?

It was off the record and she didn’t want the story to be about her.

Funny how times have changed. He was the center of a lot of hate when he was in the league. He went from one apology tour to the next.

ETA interesting to see the downvotes, I assume it is from people that didn't watch during that era.

Chuck was my favorite player during his time with the 76ers and Suns but he was a VERY polarizing figure at the time. He made some pretty provocative comments about white people, spit on a little girl during a game (though he was aiming at a man behind her) along with lots of other antics. Hell, he almost caused an international incident in Barcelona when he elbowed one of the Angola players while the US was in the midst of a near 50-0 run. After the game, MJ rebuked the move.

Lol at Barkley. That's hilarious.

Reporter sounds insufferable.

Attention whore level with those tweets.

I'm confused, is she saying that she and chuck are intimate partners? How is this relevant here?

Charles is right she can’t take a joke, wonder if she can take a punch?

In other new transgender men are beating the tits off of women in sporting events, boxing and mma included. frick 2019

Actually, if she kept her mouth shut no one would have heard about these “violent comments” she made public.

So, her story actually made violence against women even worse today. Great job, Karen.

Barkley said

I don’t hit women

I don't see the problem.

She readily admits that the interview was Off The Record and then posts the comment. I can only surmise that she doesn’t want to be a reporter anymore. Because no one is going to talk to her after this. Talk about short sighted.

And, as it turns out, I was around Barikley several years ago at an event for a couple of days. Dude was a drunk a-hole and was embarrassingly hitting on every woman in sight. The entire time. Guy was hammered by noon and well into the evening.

If Barkley comes out and tells this broad to "get a life" it would be a great gift to everyone.

Barkley has said much worse before and spit on a kid. He'll make it through this.

Chuck said that he doesn't hit women. And then he proceeded to not hit her.

She had a problem with that?

So sick and tired of all these “journalist” looking for their 15 minutes of “woke” SJW fame and the faux outrage culture that allows it.
