Yeah. There is crime in every major American city. It is hot everywhere during the summer. South Louisiana is awesome.

Everyone hates the place they’re from. Louisiana or Italy, it doesn’t matter. You’ll find tons of people itching to leave their home.

Where I grew up in the Midwest is objectively very shitty but people tend to either learn to love it, or leave and move on

I lived in Boston for 4 years and couldn't WAIT to get the frick out.
Back in Texas now and my quality of life is so much better.
I know there are plenty of people who enjoy living in New England, I am just not one of them.
Beautiful area to visit, though.

I love coming home to Louisiana. I spend a minimum of 6 months out of the year living in the worst shitholes imaginable. The weather and traffic suck but it’s home so idgaf.

This was a dive bar that reminded me of nola so I surely felt at home.
