Thoughts on this school? Does anyone here have kids or know someone with kids that attend NCS and can comment on the quality of education here? How is it for college preparation?

Or any other thoughts about it?

They take reunions very seriously. Fair warning.

It's okay. Those kids can read and write. Honestly, solid academics in a smallish environment. It depends on your wish list. Some people say it is wonderful, yet some say it is cult-like (I don't find it to be that though), Again, it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking private, you also have SSA, St. Paul, Hannan, Christ Episcopal, Bowling Green, and Ben's Ford (Sp?). All have pros and cons but mostly positives. Basically, all of the ones in Covington would be good options imho. Bowling Green and Bens Ford not so much. BGHS is better than Bens Ford imo.

My thoughts would be to take a raincheck. No way your child gets a decent education there.

You are a bad person.

What do you know about the school?

Nothing.

The name tells me all I need to know. I can deduce the quality of education from that.

I officiate a lot of high school sports and the kids are always well behaved and very respectful.

That's all I can really add. I have a high opinion of the school because 99/100 times, the way those kids carry themselves on the field is a direct reflection on the school

The dean of the school, Monty Fontenot, is a class guy. I've known him for 20 years and he is as good of a person as you will find. With that said, I do not know anyone who attended the school.

The kids are a little sheltered and can be weird. Imo I wouldn't send them there bc of the issue of when they go to college and have to meet the real world.

Wait, you became more liberal politically as you got older? Sorry this is off-topic but I've never heard of someone getting more liberal as they got older. It's always been the other way around in my experience.

Heroin and cocaine run rampant and the girls are mostly on bipolar medication but other than that the students are pretty normal.

Great school if you want your child in that brain washing protestant decorum.
