I don't think there is any better example of "trashy people do crazy/stupid shite simply to get (negative) attention" than the Carolina Squat.

The issue with the CS is that it's legitimately dangerous and obstructs driving viewing angles. Add in who gets it (not good drivers) and that's a recipe for issues. It's kind of like the choppa wheels that look like chariot spikes.

They probably already have a statute indirectly prohibiting this that deals with headlight level/height

When are insurers going to stop defending and paying claims for accidents caused by or involving unsafe vehicle modifications? I saw a bad accident the other day caused by some retard with completely blacked out taillights on his jeep. No all-male beach volleyball ball tournament transportation need is so important that you endanger other motorists.

lower class mindset. they know they will never be a part of proper society so they create antisocial behaviors to make normal people ask why you'd ever do it. it reinforces their in-group identification and rejection of the out-group. typically it will be masked with excuses of regular culture being "boring". the sad part is that instead of developing an actual culture, it's literally just a reactionary move opposed to normal people.
