Worked a job fair in Laffy last week. NOPD had a booth, absolutely not one person went to the booth. Even the guys just trying to get free ink pens.

This is unreal. It isn't like the last fiasco was 150 years ago and people have forgotten. The frick up of the 90's hiring push was when these guys were at the Department.
They lowered standards and hired hood rats and SHOCKER/SPOILER ALERT, a few years later the police were the ones running the crime syndicates in town. Literally protecting drug stashes and doing hits for drug gangs.
What a nightmare.

That was a banner year for NOPD. Antoinette Frank AND Len Davis were sent to death row. Not that either one has probably been executed ~25 or 30 years later.

Antoinette Frank is still on Death Row at the woman’s prison in St Gabriel.

Yeah I’m related to the psychiatrist that deemed her to not be fit for the job. It’s a pretty interesting story.
