Service starts this week on an ERJ135 starting at $99.

Who is booked? I think the Orlando route will get more interest from BTR.

The Orlando one will get more attention until people realize that it doesn't get you to the airport with easier access to WDW which is why most people would be going.

Austin is way more practical imo.

All pilots are still in training. These fights are their first out of the simulator. It's in the fine print.

BTR is a pleasant airport. Parking is easy and Security is a breeze unless you are leaving at rush hour.

Is this a stop off?

If you are flying from Austin to Orlando, do you have to deplane and board another jet at BTR?

So this flight isn't into MCO?

It is not.

ETA: Goes to Sanford. Good if you weren't using the Magical Express anyway. But either way, get luck on getting there on time.

Nope. Orlando-Sanford (SFB).

It's about 45 minutes from Disney.

depends on where you are going.

Takes 5 minutes from the gate to the car and you are out of the airport. MCO is not like that.

Sanford sits near a big expressway so you can be to Disney in 40 minutes depending on the time of day or to Daytona in about the same amount of time.

If you live North of Orlando, this is more convenient but if you are going to Disney, probably better to fly into MCO unless you want to stay in downtown then it is about the same distance.

There's already nonstop service from MSY to AUS.

On more than one airline.
