New Orleans government is pissed about the video that came out about Bourbon Street crowds this past week and is holding a news conference on it.

Most of you have seen the video.

However, NOLA.com ran this picture as the headline for the story:

If you have seen the video that came out...this picture is not representative at all of that crowd.

Am I being a crazy person here...or is NOLA.com intentionally trying to mislead for some reason?

Link to video in question:

They want you to believe that all of those vile monsters spreading the virus to murder your grandma with their wreckless, maskless ways are young, priveleged, neo-nazi, trump supporting white nationalist, qanon terrorists, when in reality, it’s most often African Americans who are gathering en-masse without masks.

Lol, and majority of people in that picture have a mask on or around neck while having drink.

This isn't really what I am saying, I think every race has done stupid stuff.

But I have noticed a trend like this here locally, blaming Newman homecoming, blaming college bar crowds, this story...and not covering some other large gatherings that have been shown on twitter.

It is a bit odd and seems to be by design.

So why use that picture for this article, when the article specifically is about the video that emerged over the weekend?

New Orleans has done everything in their power to not call out black people and blame everything pandemic related on evil white people.

It’s absolutely by design and 100% political. The people most at risk are not the people gathering in public at bars. However, the power over those bars are the muscles the government has to flex.

There’s a strange puritanical strain within the black female political community. I have witnessed it in Baton Rouge local politics as well. They want drinking shut down, just like Prohibition back in the day, but they know that won’t fly in their communities. So, they’re using race as a scapegoat and public health as an excuse to try and increase their power and wreck the bars.
