Went to a reception at a house on St. Charles years back. Some sort of antebellum home maybe. Local bank president daughters wedding. Nice venue, can't remember the name of the house. Ill goggle and see if I can find it.

If your avitar is a photo of your fiance, I'd pay more than 15k to make happy.
She's nearly an OT 10, even if she does suffer from scoliosis.

I got married at the Presbytere and while we were gone on our second line, the catering company flipped the place into a reception hall.
It's going to be out of your price range. We paid like $120/person, but everything went smoothly. One advantage is that the Presbytere is a museum, so it's a tax write off.
Also, nobody got abducted, raped, or killed, and that was before the statues came down. You should be golden now.

That looks like the one. Don't know if that was the name of it back then. This was in the late 90's, early 2000.

City Park Botanical Gardens or Audubon Tea Room.

Wax Museum may fit your budget.

Chateau estates in Kenner for that budget

What's the NO Board of Trade going for these days?

My sister (no pics) had both her ceremony and reception at the Elms off of St. Charles. Really nice venue. I don't know shite about wedding costs, but I highly doubt 15k is gonna cut it, especially with 200 guests. (I think hers was around 35k actually)

Most places are going to be 55 to 85 a person plus venue, tables, chairs, up lighting

Southern Oaks
Did our reception here over twenty years ago. They can do whatever you want.

I've also be to weddings at Southport hall. It's less formal and we had a good time. It may be more in your price range

Nope, it was the elms plantation, my bad.

Congrats.
We had ours at the sonesta last year and it was a bit more than your budget.
The wife researched all of the venues in the city so I'll check with her
Also something to remember: if you're all in budget is $15k it's really around 11.5k after tax and the service charge (which they tax somehow).
Best of luck. Just nod and say yes.
