NOLA Photo Enforcement

They definitely had some cars out taking pics of speeders today. Got my pic taken on West End and another time on REL across from Mt Carmel. Are these real speeding tickets, or did a company just get cop cars and paint them to look like NOPD cars?
They do have signs out before you get to the cars saying that they are doing photo enforcement

I got booted a couple of months ago for two unpaid camera tickets (ok and maybe a couple of parking tickets). Uber, private lot or my driveway from now on.

Pass back through in your Lambo doing 150mph and report back with your findings.

Congrats on giving the City of NOLA 250+ dollars.

Not gonna lie, this happening to the guy who brags about driving like an a-hole made my day.
EDIT: My day's pretty boring so far, so that bar ain't real high.

Haven't paid yet honkey. Will re-evaluate when I get them in the mail. My speed camera tickets all go right in the trash. Never got one from the photo enforcement

I guess you went with the "don't always believe everything you read" theory...twice.

You will get booted if you don't pay and they find you parked on the street.

They are the exact same as the red light cameras and the permanent speed cameras. They are just mobile.
They hang out on Canal Street by Warren Eastern a couple of mornings a week.
They are adding like 50 fixed cameras this year... until they are all up, they are rotating them throughout school zones, then I guess they will just be randomly placed each day.
Today was the first day I saw one NOT in a school zone.
