NOLA must stay average. Every good event requires a matching bad event.

Saints win on MNF? Need to have an unpermitted school bus overturn.

You want Brees to break a record? OK, but it will cost you a S&WB turbine.

Every positive step must be immediately preceded or followed by a negative one.

It's insane.

The fact that we aren’t stuck with a Hard Rock Hotel.

Was that Superbowl worth those 2000 people killed during Katrina?

Going by the way your mind works.

Was it worth it... no. Not at all.

Did Katina force a lot of changes, including a lost 2005 saints season, which led to wholesale firings/cuts with the Saints, and since no one else wanted to come here after that, led to the team getting a hurt QB and an unproven first time head coach? Of course.

Cmon man. The good/bad events have to be reasonably close together in time. The good of the Super Bowl win was balanced out by the bad of Mitch Landrieu getting elected.
