They won't.

The Louisiana Disaster Act originally granted the power of the City to confiscate guns, but they got sued and that part was removed for being unconstitutional (duh)

Not sure why prohibiting the sale of firearms wasn't challenged as well

uh but they still confiscated legal guns from law abiding citizens post katrina....

I don't think any place in NO actually sells guns anymore except for antique guns.

Damn, Bro. You sure you need more alcohol?

Generally speaking, chivalry is alive and well in my world. I love and respect women. But, there are a few bitches like AOC, Cantrell, and Broome, that I despise more than anything. There's a common attitude that is shared by all three of them that I find disgusting.

How about you guys repair that crumbling infrastructure you bitch about on a daily basis? Or better yet, actually prepare for a hurricane season for once.

can't have people arming themselves against what will likely be an increase in crime

You can vote, can't you? Vote competent people into office.
There's a reason why New Orleans looks like New Orleans

and not like Amsterdam

Fair point, but Ive come to the realization already that the "voting competent people in office" thing will not happen anytime soon (I do vote, but my vote isnt changing anything). Which is why I and most of my peers are moving out of here after school. This state is so beyond fricked that it would take a hell of an effort by a great leader, and we dont have that.

Louisiana brain drain it is, then. Well I certainly can't blame you. I want what you want; and that is for New Orleans to survive and flourish. But how that will happen without an informed and motivated electorate I do not know.
